Terms of Use

EFFECTIVE JULY 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Aviator Systems LLC ("Aviator Systems", "we", "us") for your use of the Cue app and related services (together, "Cue"). By downloading or using Cue, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cue.

Who can use Cue

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cue, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use Cue on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

Your license to use Cue

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cue on Apple devices you own or control, for your own rehearsal and self-tape work, in line with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of Cue, except where the law says such a restriction cannot apply.

Accounts

Some features (such as sharing scripts and recording lines for a friend) need an account. You can create one with Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You can delete your account and its server-side data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Your content

Cue lets you import scripts, build projects, and record video and audio takes ("Your Content"). As between you and us, you keep all rights to Your Content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the features you use: for example, to store and deliver a project you choose to share, or to pass your script text and rehearsal audio to the providers below so Cue can parse a script, generate a reader voice, or detect your cue. We do not claim ownership of your performances and we do not use Your Content to advertise to you.

You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it. Do not upload or share material you do not have the right to use, and do not use Cue to impersonate a real person's voice or likeness without their permission.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or end access to Cue if you break these Terms.

Reader voices and processing providers

Cue's scene partner reads the other characters' lines back to you using generated reader voices. To provide these features, script text may be sent to our parsing and voice providers (OpenAI and ElevenLabs), and in the speech-based cue modes your microphone audio is streamed to our speech-to-text provider (ElevenLabs) to detect when you finish a line. These providers process your text and audio to deliver the feature. How Cue handles this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

Cue, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Aviator Systems and protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights in our brand or software beyond the license above.

Disclaimers

Cue is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Cue will be uninterrupted, error free, or that reader voices, script parsing, or cue detection will be accurate. Some features need an internet connection and third-party services that we do not control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aviator Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, or opportunities, arising from your use of Cue. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cue is limited to the amount you paid us for Cue in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using Cue at any time and delete the app and your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering Cue. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we will update this page and the effective date above. Your continued use of Cue after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
